Tutorial 8: Preprocessing Social Media Text
🤔 hmm howwww should we think about our #NLProc preprocessing pipeline when it comes to informal TEXT written by social media users?!? In this tutorial, we’ll discuss some interesting features of social media text data and how we can think about handling them when doing computational text analyses. We will introduce some Python libraries and code that you can use to process text and give you a chance to experiment with some real data from platforms like Twitter and Reddit.
